DIED IN FLORIDAFuneral services were held January 30, 1971 for Mrs. Clara Boone, 81, of Orlando, Florida, and formerly of Osage, Iowa. Mrs. Boone died on January 28, 1971, in Orlando. Burial was there.
Clara Isabella Christianson was born in Osage, on October 2, 1889, the daughter of Anton and Olia Lee Christianson. She grew to womanhood here and was graduated from Osage high school in 1907. She was baptized and confirmed at the Osage Lutheran Church.
She attended business college in Des Moines and an art school in Cedar Rapids. She was a teacher many years and was supervisor of the art and penmanship department of the school in New Hampton, later in Washington, D.C., and was employed by the government in Washington during World War I.
Clara Christianson and Turin B. Boone were married in 1920. They continued to reside in Washington until his death in 1942. She has lived in Orlando for 25 years.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Turin, her parents and ... brothers.
Surviving are one brother, Ralph Christianson of St. Petersburg, Florida; two sisters, Mrs. Ellen Halvorson and Mrs. Elsie Havig of Osage; nieces and nephews.
