Jewell Regina Harding

Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 8, 1987, at the Church of Nazarene, Kirksville, Missouri, for Jewell Regina Harding, 71, who died Sunday, July 5, 1987, in Kirksville. Dr. H. Hendrix, pastor, officiated, and burial was in the Highland Park Cemetery.

She was born on November 9, 1915, the daughter of Carl and Olea Johnson Knudson, in Orchard, Iowa.

She married William Eugene Harding on June 10, 1937, in Dexter, Iowa. In 1938 she moved from Dexter to Kirksville, where she was employed as a cook in several restaurants and Northeast Missouri State University until her retirement in 1962.

She was preceded in death by three brothers an done sister.

Survivors include her husband; one son, Larry Harding of Merriam, Kansas; three grandchildren: Julie, John and Heather Harding; one sister, Marcella Wetter of Osage, Iowa; and nieces and nephews.
