FUNERAL SERVICES HELD
DECEMBER 26 IN THE AREA
Funeral services for Mrs. William (Lila Verbena) Klusmeier, 79, of Lyle, who died Tuesday, December 22, 1987, at Adams Health Care Center, Adams, Minnesota, were held on Saturday, December 26, at Six Miles Grove Lutheran Church, Lyle, with the Rev. G. Grant officiating.
Mrs. Klusmeier was born on August 10, 1908 in Mower county, Minnesota, the daughter of Martin and Amelia Nelson. She attended Nevada Center schools. She married William H. Klusmeier on November 22, 1933 in Lyle. They farmed in the Otranto area five yeawrs, Rose Creek area for 41 years, and Lyle the past eight years.
Survivors include her husband, William of Lyle and now at Adams Care Center; two daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Marilyn) Nelson, Owatonna, Minnesota, and Mrs. Robert (Elaine) Anderson of Fremont, Nebraska; one son, William H. Klusmeier, Jr. of Truman, Minnesota; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and five sisters.
Burial was at Woodbury cemetery, Lyle, Minnesota.
