Leona C. Huset was born January 3, 1912 at Parkers Prairie, Otter Tail, Minnesota to Clarence Oscar Huset & Alma Thorine Olson, the first of their four children.
Found in the 1920 census living at Elmo, Otter Tail, Minnesota: Clarence O Huset 35, Alma T Huset 29, Leona C Huset 8, Clarice O Huset 3 yrs 4 mos.
Found in the 1925 - 1930 censuses living at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa:
1925: Clarence O Huset 39, Alma T Huset 34, Leona K Huset 13, Clarice O Huset 8, Carmen A Huset 1.
1930: Clarence O Huset 46, Alma T Huset 40[41] , Leona C Huset 18, Clarice O Huset 13, Carmen A Huset 7, Merlyn D Huset 2 yrs 9 mos.
Leona married Eugene M. Estal in 1933 at the Rock Creek Lutheran, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa. The couple had 4 children and lived on a farm in Cedar township.
Found in the 1940 census at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa:
1940: Eugene M Estal 30, Leona Estal 28, Gloria Estal 4, Aubrey Estal 2, Gerald Estal 1.
Leona C Estal died April 22, 1981 at Osage, Mitchell, Iowa and was buried at the Oak Grove Cemetery, Mitchell, Mitchell, Iowa.
