Mrs. Robert Frank

OSAGE, IOWA - Services for Mrs. Robert Frank, 56, a former Osage resident, who died Sunday in Des Plaines, Illinois, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Champion Funeral Home in Osage. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Marc Bonnvier and Mrs. John Bark, both of Des Plaines; her father, Edwin Horgen of Osage.

Marvelyn Eileen Horgen was born April 24, 1918 at Lincoln, Mitchell, Iowa to Edwin Rudolph Horgen and Thea Olga Lundene, the second of their five children.

Found in the 1920 census at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa: Edwin R Horgen 30, Thea O Horgen 28, Glendon A Horgen 5, Marvelin E Horgen 1 yr 2 mos.

Found in the 1925, 1930 censuses at Osage, Mitchell, Iowa:

1925: Ed Hengen 35, Theaolda Herig 33, Glenhon Herigan 10, Marerlyn Herigan 6, Kenus Herigan 4. Says he is widowed (not true); parents were Gilbert Herigan and Julia Jensen.

1930: E Horgan 38, Glendon Horgan 15, Marvelyn Horgan 11, Kenneth Horgan 10, Virgil Horgan 5.

Found in the 1940 census at Newburg, Mitchell, Iowa; Olga Horgen 48, Kenneth Horgen 20, Mavelyn Horgen 21, Virgil Horgen 15.

She married Robert Eugene Frank at probably Mitchell County, Iowa. The couple had two daughters.

Marvelyn died August 18, 1974 at Des Plaines, Illinois and was buried at the Osage City Cemetery, Osage, Iowa.
