RITES HELD FOR
MRS. SOPHIA WOLFFuneral services for an Osage woman, Mrs. Sophia Wolf, 83, were held on Saturday morning, March 20, 1971. Mrs. Wolf died on Wednesday, March 17, 1971.
Rev. Kessler was in charge of the services at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage, with arrangements by C. R. Champion and Sons. Burial was in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Sophia Emma Miller was born April 19, 1887, at Hokah, Minn. She was married October 4, 1910, to William M. Wolf. Mrs. Wolf had been a resident of the Stacyville Community rest home for the past few years, since the death of her husband. She was a lifelong member of the Catholic church.
Surviving are her children: Mrs. Raymond Mauer (Gertrude) of Stacyville, Mrs. Russell C. Smith (Bernice) of Loves Park, Illinois, Clement Wolf of Midwest City, Oklahoma, Sister Mary Wilma Wolf of Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Rollin Frye (Agnes) of Rockford, Illinois, Mrs. A. J. Berg (Monica) of Omaha, Fideles M. Wolf of Minneapolis, Sister Catherine Wolf of Cedar Rapids, Vincent J. Wolf of Chillicothe, Mo.; 32 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Charles Miller of Hokah, Minnesota.
Preceding her in death were her husband, William; and infant daughter, Wilma; her parents; two brothers and five sisters.
