MITCHELL, IOWA - Leonard "Bud" Mostek, 71, of Mitchell, died Friday October 2, 1998, at his home, of natural causes.

Survivors include his wife. Dorothy, his mother, Helen Mostek Winterton of Fulton, Illinois; a daughter, Wendy Schulz of South Barrington, Illinois; three sons, Jonathon of Sycamore, Illinois, Joel of Clinton, and Jason of Bartlett, Illinois; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandsons and a sister, Sandra Goodale.

He was preceded in death by a sister Leona Mostek Larson.

Services will be on Monday at St. Ansgar Catholic Church, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Mitchell. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Champion Funeral Home, Osage, with a 7 p.m. prayer service and 7:30 p.m. rosary.

Mr. Mostek was a construction worker, and then was employed by Union Carbide from 1969 until retiring in 1983.
