DIES IN WATERLOORobert Elias Jackson died January 12, 1943, at St. Francis hospital at Waterloo, where he had been a patient for only three days. Mr. Jackson was a brother to Mrs. Elec Paulson and spent many years in Osage.
Deceased was born in this county on July 3, 1871. His marriage to Viola Nelson took place on May 29, 1897, in Osage.
They moved to Waterloo many years ago, where Mr. Jackson was engaged in the manufacture of insecticide products.
Surviving are his wife and their five children: Darwin D. Jackson of Rochester, Minnesota; Van Jackson of Waterloo; Mrs. Delores Speers, Waterloo; Mrs. Marjorie Mann, Brownsville, Minnesota; and Mrs. Beatrice Rutz, Rochester, Minnesota. He is survived by a brother, John Jackson, Ortonville, Minnesota, and his sisters, Mrs. Anna Paulson, Osage, and Mrs. Leta Neipling, of Waterloo; by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held on Friday, January 13, 1943, at Kearns Garden chapel, and burial was in Fairview Cemetery.
