Raymond Dean Berg died March 7, 2013
Raymond Dean Berg from Greers Ferry, Arkansas, was born July 28, 1929, and passed away on March 7, 2013, at Southridge Village Nursing and Rehab in Heber Springs, Arkansas, at the age of 83 years.
Mr. Berg was born in Waverly, Iowa, the son of Grant and Opal Lovejoy Berg. Mr. Berg was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Max Dale Berg in a World War II battle and Roger Berg of Fairfield Bay.
He is survived by nephew, Randy Berg (Bonnie) of Sioux City, Iowa; niece, Renae Braughton (Phil) of Omaha, Nebraska; Mitchell Stark, his health care giver and friend;
other relatives and many friends.
Mr. Berg was a graduate of St. Ansgar High School in Iowa at age 16 years old, Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, and New York School of Interior Design.
Mr. Berg was cremated, and no memorial services have been made at this time. Memorials may be made to the Heber Springs Humane Society or the Arkansas Cancer Fund.
