IVEY, Agnes Olive Haugen 1896-1969

Agnes Olive Haugen was born September 12, 1896 at Meroa, Cedar township, Mitchell County, Iowa to Olaus Knudsen Haugen and Jane Lydia Isabella Maakestad, the third of their 9 children. She was baptized on October 18, 1896 at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa and confirmed at same on June 11, 1911. She attended schools at the Meroa country school and finished high school.

Found in the 1900 - 1910 censuses at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa:
1900: Olavus Haugen 30, Lydia J Haugen 32, Gertie C Haugen 6, Clarence J Haugen 5, Agnes O Haugen 3, Olga L Haugen 2, Helen Haugen 0/12, Olavus Thompson 24.
1910: Olaus Knudsen Haugen 40, Jane Lydia Isabella Maakestad Haugen 42, Gertie Haugen 16, Agnes Haugen 13, Olga Haugen 11, Norman Haugen 9, Evelyn Haugen 7, Ernest Haugen 5, Margaret Haugen 3.

Found in the 1920 - 1940 censuses living at St Paul, Ramsey, Minnesota:
1920: Bertha Ostrem 26, Olga Wangen 21, Agnes Wangen 23 (should be Haugen).
1930: Agnes O Haugen age 32.
1940: Agnes Haugen age 42, stenographer.

Agnes married Henry William Ivey (1892-1973) after 1940. Do not believe they had any children. They continued to lived in St Paul according to City Directories.

Agnes died October 20, 1969 at St Paul, Ramsey, Minnesota but could not find where she was buried.
