Oscar N Anderson was born January 23, 1890 at Cedar township, Mitchell County, Iowa to Nels Anderson and Anna Maria Halvorsdatter Horgen, the fifth of their 10 (or 11) children.

Found in the 1900 census living at Floyd, Floyd, IA: Nels Anderson 45, Annie M Anderson 39, Albert Anderson 21 (born in IA); Martha Anderson 18, Lina Anderson 14, Henry Anderson 12, Oscar Anderson 10, Gilbert Anderson 6, Alma Anderson 3, Olga Anderson 7/12.

Oscar married Daisy Lenore Clemons before 1915. The couple had 3 daughters: Lila, Doris (married a Hennemann), Lois (married a Barnett).

Found in the 1915 census at Otranto, Mitchell, IA, married: Oscar N Anderson age 25, farmer in Floyd Co., IA.

Found in the 1920 census at Niles, Floyd, Iowa: Oscar Anderson 30, Daisy Anderson 28, Lilah Anderson 8, Doris Anderson 4, Lois Anderson 2.

Found in the 1925, 1930 censuses at Osage, Mitchell, Iowa:
1925: Oscar Anderson 35, Daisy Anderson 35, Lila Anderson 13, Dorris Anderson 9, Lays Anderson 7.

1930: Oscar N Anderson 40, Daisy L Anderson 39, Doris E Anderson 15, Lois A Anderson 11.

Oscar and Daisy divorced after 1930.

Oscar married Ferne Belle (last name unknown).

Oscar died October 27, 1956 at Osage, Mitchell, Iowa and is buried at Osage City Cemetery beside Ferne.
