Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, November 27, 1986 for Mrs. Howard (June) Krause, 53, of rural Orchard, Iowa, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Osage. The Rev. Roger Hubbard will officiate and burial will be in the Orchard Cemetery. Mrs. Krause died on Monday, November 24, 1986, at the Osage hospital, after a long illness.

Visitation will be after noon Tuesday, at Champion Funeral Home in Osage.

She was born on February 28, 1933 at Vincent, Iowa, to John and Matilda (Wagner) Denchlau. She attended schools in rural Webster County.

On November 21, 1954, she married Howard Krause at Fort Dodge. They lived at LuVerne until 1974, when they moved to rural Orchard.

She was preceded in death by her father; and by a brother, Carl.

Survivors include her husband, Howard; three daughters, Mrs. James (Jeanna) Meyer of Latimer, and Sheila and Susan, both at home; four sons, Jeffrey and James, both of Osage, John of Manly, and Michael, of rural Orchard; her mother, Mrs. Matilda Dencklau of Vincent, Iowa; a brother, Bernard Dencklau of Vincent; and seven grandchildren.
