Osage, Iowa — David Lee Williams, 78, of Osage, died Thursday, June 6, 2013, at Mitchell County Regional Health Center in Osage.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 11, at St. Paul’s Maple Leaf Lutheran Church in Rural Elma at 10:30 a.m. A committal service will be held at 2:30 p.m. in East Lawn Memory Gardens Cemetery in Eldora.
Friends may call one hour before services on Tuesday at the Church.
Lindstrom Funeral Home in Riceville is in charge of the arrangements.

David Lee Williams, age 78, of Osage, Iowa, passed away on Thursday June 6, 2013 at the Mitchell County Regional Health Center in Osage, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday June 11, 2013 at St. Paul’s Maple Leaf Lutheran Church in Rural Elma at 10:30 A.M. A committal service will be held at 2:30 P.M in East Lawn Memory Gardens Cemetery in Eldora, Iowa. Friends may call one hour before services on Tuesday at the Church. Lindstrom Funeral Home in Riceville is in charge of the arrangements.
David Lee Williams was born in Iowa City, Iowa on March 10, 1935 to Eugene and Helena (Brown) Williams. David served his country for sixteen years in the United States Air Force. David was united in marriage to Sylvia Ann Holt. He worked as a farm hand and before retiring was in maintenance at the Newton Mall.
Survivors include two sons: Berle of Albion, Iowa and Rick (Evelyn) Williams of Massillon, Ohio, nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren, a brother Duane Williams of Trenton, Missouri and two sisters: Aileen Kirchoff of Riceville, Iowa and Katrina Williams of Minot, North Dakota.
David was preceded in death by his wife Sylvia in 2007, sons: David in 2008 and Robert in 2013, brothers Gail, Ronald, and Beryl, and a sister Alice Norman.
