Funeral services were held on Saturday, September 27, 1986, at Visitation Catholic Church in Stacyville, for Martha C. Hemann, 83, of Stacyville. Rev. C. Manternach officiated, and burial was in the Visitation Cemetery.

Miss Hemann died on Thursday, September 26, 1986 at a Rochester, Minnesota, hospital.

Miss Hemann was born on June 1, 1903 in Stacyville, to John M. and Mary Hemann. She was retired from the Illinois Central Railroad and lived in Stacyville for the past 18 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.

She is survived by one sister, Margaret Adams of Stacyville.
