Services for Arthur J. Heusman, 85, of Phoenix, Arizona, and formerly of Waterloo, will be 10 a.m. Friday at Garden View Chapel, 3655 Logan Ave., with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery [Waterloo].
Mr. Heusman died at 2:30 pm Friday at Hillhaven Health Care Center, Phoenix.
He was born on January 27, 1896, at Hart Minnesota, the son of John F. and Dorothea Lehman Heusman. He married Mathilda L. Troge June 14, 1917 at Osage. She died in July 1977. He was employed by John G. Miller Construction Co., in maintenance, retiring in 1961. He was a charter member of St John's Lutheran Church, Mitchell County.
Survivors include two daughters Cora Pesartic of Phoenix, and Myrtle Sylvester of Charles City; a son, Kenneth Heusman of Monroe, Mich and seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Friday. Memorials may be made to St. Thomas Lutheran Church, Phoenix.
