OSAGE, IOWA — James R. Halterman, 69, of Osage, died Monday, July 18, 1994, at North Iowa Mercy Health Center, Mason City, of natural causes.
Survivors include his wife, Delores; four daughters: April Nicol of Osage, Christine Winters of Little Cedar, Beverly Butterfield of Chaska, Minn., and Karen Halterman of Osage; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Clarice Overlander of New Oxford, Pa., and Elva Kuhns of Littlestown, Pa; and four brothers, John, of Upper Marlboro, Md., Harry and Earl, both of York, Pa., and Lorain of New Oxford.
He was preceded in death by four brothers.
Services were 11 a.m. today at Champion Funeral Home, Osage, with burial in Osage Cemetery; memorials may be directed to the family.
Mr. Halterman was a retired farm implement dealer, and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.[Waterloo Courier, Wednesday, July 20, 1994]
