Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 23, 1986 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage, for Mrs. Gregor (Rosella) Loecher, 78, of Osage. Rev. L. Connolly officiated, and burial was in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. She died on Saturday, December 20, 1986, at the Osage hospital.
Mrs. Loecher was born on June 17, 1908, at Stacyville, Iowa, to Thomas and Margaret (Weber) Theobald. She attended schools in Stacyville.
On January 7, 1931, she married Gregor Loecher in Stacyville. The couple farmed in the Stacyville area until 1967 when they retired and moved to Osage.
Survivors include her husband, Gregor of Osage; a daughter, Mrs. Clem (Darlene) Schneider of Mason City; two sisters, Mrs. Raymond (Louise) Wolf of Austin, Minnesota, and Mrs. John (Virginia) Sullivan of San Jose, California; two brothers, Urban Theobald of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, and Reynold Theobald of Waterloo; and three grandchildren.
