WALTER DUENOW DIES AT OSAGE; RITES THURSDAY
Osage – Walter Duenow died Monday evening on his 69th birthday at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services are set tentatively for Thursday afternoon at St. Peters Lutheran Church, Toeterville. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
He had lived in an Austin nursing home since suffering a stroke seven years ago. Three months ago he moved to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Albion Decklever, Osage.
Surviving are a brother, Oscar, Los Angeles; seven sisters; Mrs. Anna Seefeldt, St. Ansgar; Mrs. Tillie Smith; Miss Grace and Miss Esther Duenow, all of Los Angeles; Mrs. Alma Kearney, Washington, D. C.; Mrs. Roy Thorson, Grand Rapids, Michigan; Mrs. Alice Decklever, Osage.

Walter Emil Duenow was born in Saint Ansgar, Mitchell County, Iowa on December 10, 1894, the son of William Friedrich Duenow and Elizabeth (Wagner) Duenow.
