Gerald McSweeney was born on March 15, 1910,
He was affiliated with the Farmers Produce company, and also with the Mitchell County Poultry Products Improvement Association.

He married Maryon B. Nielson in December 1947.

He died in October 1983, and was survived by his wife, Maryon, who died in 1993. Both are buried in Sacred Heart Cemetery at Osage.

CONVENTION SPEAKER.

OSAGE, IOWA - Mr. and Mrs. Gerald McSweeney of Osage left Wednesday for Omaha, Nebraska, where they will attend the North Central States butter and egg convention. McSweeney was to be the main speaker on one of the morning programs on the Mitchell County Poultry Improvement Association, which Gerald was instrumental in organizing.
