Kristine Anna Framstad was born March 3, 1885 at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa to Gudbrand Pedersen Framstad & Dorthe Olsdatter Slette, the second of their eight children. She was baptized at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church at Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa on March 29, 1885. Her baptismal sponsors were: Kristian Gulbransen; Gulbrand Olsen; Dorthe Pedersdatter; Randi Pedersdatter.
She was confirmed at RCLC on June 18, 1899. Kristine attended rural country schools in Cedar township.
Kristine married Andrew Hansen on March 20, 1907 at Mitchell, Iowa. The couple farmed and raised four children: Myrtle D, Glen H, Arnold K and Olaf A.
Kristine died July 24, 1975 at Osage, Mitchell, Iowa and was buried at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church Cemetery, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.
