Brian was born on May 30, 1962 in Osage to Norbert and Mary Ann (Koenigs) Klapperich. He graduated from St. Ansgar High School in 1980.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, sang with the 40 Milers Barbershop Chorus. He loved playing the guitar, drawing and painting. He worked at the Stacyville Nursing Home for 11 years. He loved to bowl and enjoyed playing softball and basketball. He followed the Saints, Hawks, Twins and Vikings. He had an infectious smile and was a friend to all.
He is survived by his mother Mary Ann, brothers Steve (Laura), Dennis (Monique) and Tim. Sisters Lori (John), Pam (Darren) and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father Norbert.
