Ole Olsen Fjelde was born on May 17, 1859 at Sondre, Aurvals Parish, Norway, to Ole Fjelde and Ingeborg Halvorsdatter.
Emigrated to America and settled on a farm in Mitchell County, Iowa.
Married Guri Christophersdatter Goplerud on March 14, 1888 at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa. The couple lived at Rock township of Mitchell County.
They had one daughter, Ida Caroline Fjeld (born March 29, 1889 Rock, Mitchell, Iowa, married Edvin Tingelstad 1918, died October 30, 1966 Marion, Oregon).
Ole Olsen Fjelde died July 31, 1889 at Rock, Mitchell, Iowa and was buried at the Rock Creek Lutheran Cemetery, Meroa, Iowa.

Ole's wife, Guri Christophersdatter Goplerud was born December 29, 1865 Oppland, Norway to Christoffer Christoffersen Goplerud and Kjersti Haraldsdatter Ormsrud and died September 29, 1955 at Portland, Clackamas, Oregon. Guri is buried at Silverton, Marion, Oregon. FAG #28519826.
(Note: Not 100% sure of Ole's information, there were at least three men with that name living in Mitchell County, Iowa at the same time.)
