In 1877 she was married to Ole Tiedemanson, who died in 1919.

Mrs. Tiedermanson had made her home in and about St. Ansgar for 67 years. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Clara Brogmus, and four sons, Thomas, Colorado Springs, Colo., Iver of Mitchell, Carl of Lake Mills and Anton of Marion. Three sisters, Mrs. H.K. Dahl and Mrs. _. O. Nelson of St. Ansgar and Mrs. T.O. Narveson of Albert Lea, Minn. and two brothers, Narve Nelson of Lake Mills and Ole Nelson of Spokane, Wash., also survive. Mrs. Tiedemanson had twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

As a token of her love for the church of which she was an active member, Mrs. Tiedemanson provided in her will that $300 be given to the congregation to be used for the improvement of the church building.
