Funeral services for Mary O. Tollefson, 80, who died at a rest home in Santa Clara, California January 21, 1962 will be held at the Schroeder & Houg Funeral Home here May 12 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Don Hamilton, pastor of First Lutheran church, officiating.
Mary O. Tollefson was born near St. Ansgar April 4, 1882, the daughter of Andrew and Margit Tollefson. She was confirmed by the Rev. J. Olsen May 27, 1897, and was a member of First Lutheran church.
Miss Tollefson spent several years in St. Paul, Minnesota where she held a position of legal secretary until she moved to California. She made a home for her mother in Polo Alto and San Jose, California until the latter's death in 1946. She resided in San Jose, California with her sister, Mrs. Ruth Michelson.
Other survivors are a sister, Grace A. Tollefson of Stockton, California, and a nephew, Dr. A. M. Solheim of Minneapolis. A sister, Mrs. Minnie G. Solheim, preceded her in death September 15, 1959.
Interment was in the First Lutheran cemetery with Rev. Hamilton in charge of the committal services.
