Gubjor Larsdatter Dynn​a was born February 26, 1829 at Lu​nner, Gran, Hadeland, ​Oppland, Norway to Lars Torgrim​sen Dynna and Mari Haa​velsdatter Stadstad.

She married Gulbrand Jorgensen Liaeker at Hadeland, Norway sometime before 1858. Gulbrand Jorgensen Liaeker was born March 29, 1831 at Oppland, Norway and died December 23, 1867 at Gran, Hadeland, Norway.

The couple had 3 children:
Karen Gudbrandsdatter Liaeker (born June 1, 1858 Gran, Hadeland, Norway, married John Gerhard Anderson March 6, 1885 Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa, died February 10, 1937 Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.

Lars Liaeker (born February 23, 1862 Gran, Hadeland, Norway, died April 25, 1869 Gran, Hadeland, Norway) and

Jorgen Gudbrandsen Liaeker (born July 18, 1864 Hadeland, Norway, died March 20, 1947 Mitchell Co, Iowa).

After the death of Gubjor's husband and their son Lars, Gubjor emigrated in July of 1883 with her daughter Karen and son Jorgen to Cedar, Mitchell County, Iowa. ​

Gubjor can be found in the 1900 & 1910 censuses living at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa with her son-in-law and daughter:
1900: John G. Anderson 40, Karn Anderson 41, Gustav Anderson 14, Gina L. Anderson 11, Julijns Anderson 9, Lise Anderson 5, Anders Anderson 3, Gulbe? Licker 71.

1910: John G. Anderson 50, Karen Anderson 51, Gustave Anderson 24, Julius Anderson 19, Lizzie Anderson 15, Andrew Anderson 13, Gulljar Larson 81.

Gubjor died February 13, 1914 at Cedar township, Mitc​hell, Iowa and was buried at the Rock Creek Lutheran Cemetery, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.
