Mathea Docken was born December 1865 at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa to Thidemand Thidemandsen Docken and Gunhild Aslesdatter, the fourth of their eleven children. (not 100% sure of birth date, many discrepancies found]. She used the nickname Mattie.
Mathea was confirmed at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church, Meroa, Iowa on May 18, 1882.
She married Anton Iverson 1886 at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa, probably at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church. The couple had one son, Ingvald Theodore Iverson (1890-1955).
Mattie Iverson died December 26, 1932 at Osage, Mitchell, Iowa and was buried at the Osage City Cemetery.
