Ingebor Lohn was born in Norway August 5th, 1835. Losing both her parents at the age of nine years, she made her home with an older sister Mrs. K. Lohn. She lived in her native country until she was grown. In 1856 she came with her sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. K. Lohn to this country . At first they stopped at Beloit, Wisconsin, but after a time they all came to Mitchell County and settled on the Lohn farm south of St. Ansgar. Mr. and Mrs. Lohn were the only relatives she had in this country.

Here she made her home until she was married to Colben Seaver in 1860 and over forty years they made their home on their farm south of St. Ansgar. Here their children were born and grew to promising man and womanhood. Being one of those sweet unassuming characters who always do a great deal and without the sounding of trumpets to herald their approach, she came like a ministering angel to many who were in need of help. She was an earnest devoted Christian woman and seemed to be utterly unselfish, always putting herself in the back ground and ever thoughtful of the needs of those around her. She has been a patient sufferer for a great many years her failing health dating back a number of years ago when she had a severe attack of grip.

For a couple of months before her death she was confined to her bed where she patiently waited the summons to the reward which is sure to come to those who live the faithful life that she did.

To Mr. and Mrs. Seaver were born nine children, but only five of them survive the mother. These are Mrs. A.P. Golberg, of St. Ansgar, Mrs. K.H. Egdahl, of Lake Mills, Mrs. Will Seaver of Beloit, Wis., and Will and Ida at home. They were all present at the funeral except Mrs. Egdahl.
