Funeral services were held for Leonard August Schultz from the First Lutheran church last Saturday with the Rev. Olaf A. Langehough in charge.
Death came to Mr. Schultz on June 22, 1938 at the age of 55 years, following a stroke on June 19. He was the son of August and Bertha Schultz and was born in Newburg township September 16, 1882.
He was baptized in the Rock Creek Lutheran church October 29, 1882 by Rev. Zeilinger and was confirmed at the same church on April 11, 1897 by Rev. Westenberger.
He is survived by one brother and nine sisters as follows; Henry Schultz, St. Ansgar; Emma Schultz, St. Ansgar; Mrs. Carl Kuehl, Washington; Mrs. Paul Ruehlow, Osage; Anna Schultz, St. Ansgar; Bertha Schultz, St. Ansgar; Mrs. Henry Hamlin, Des Moines; Mrs. Henry Priem, St. Ansgar; Mrs. William Mackin, Osage, and Mrs. Charles Buchanana, Des Moines.
