Death of Mrs. Morgan
The wife of the late J. E. B. Morgan, of the firm of Morgan, Kelly & Taneyhill, died Wednesday at her home in Osage.
The News, of that place says:
Our people were much surprised Wednesday morning to hear that Mrs. Morgan had passed away the night before.
Though she had not been out much this winter and was not very strong, she had not been sick. Tuesday evening she sat on the porch with the rest of the family, including a brother and a niece who were there visiting until 10 o'clock.
Not long after they retired the brother heard cries of distress from her room where they found her in a dying condition from heart failure. She was able to speak but a few words and died within half an hour and before any physician reached her bedside.
The funeral was held from the house Thursday afternoon.
