Dennis Glenn Cue, age 43, of Chester, Illinois, died on Thursday evening, October 4, 1990, in an automobile accident near Chester, Illinois.
Funeral services were held Sunday, October 7, 1990, at 1 p.m. at the Schroeder-McClure Funeral Chapel in Chester, with Rev. Joseph Sheets officiating. Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Graceland Cemetery, with Rev. Vernon Sorenson officiating. Foster Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.
Dennis Glenn Cue, son of Glenn and Marie (Simons) Cue, was born October 2, 1946, in Des Moines. He graduated from the Aurelia High School, 1964, and also graduated Waterloo Barber College in 1966, and was a graduate of the Illinois State Police Academy, Springfield, Illinois.
On April 2, 1967, he married Rita Tague at Swea City. From 1971 to 1985 he was employed by the Illinois Central Railroad, as a lineman. Most recently he was employed at the Menard Correctional Center in Chester, Illinois, as a tower guard.
Survivors include a son, Travis Paul Cue of Kansas City, Missouri; daughter, Tanya Denise Cue of Manson; one granddaughter, Kali Marie Cue; Parents Glenn and Marie Cue of Webster City; and a sister, Julie (Mrs. Tim) Valley of Webster City; and a grandmother, Helen E. Cue, of Denison, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by one brother, David Cue, 1973
