Emil Paul Brandt – February 25, 1913 – September 6, 1986

Funeral service was held on September 9, 1986 for Emil Brandt at Marshall Lutheran Church, the Reverend Allen Gunderson officiating. Organist was Mrs. David Anderson and soloist was Mrs. Lloyd Johnson. Interment was in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, St. Ansgar, Iowa.
Emil was born February 25, 1913 in Mitchell County Iowa, the son of Nicolaus and Ernestina Brandt.
Honorary bearers were Floyd Kiefer, LaVerne Kiefer, James Boe, Kermit Quale, Ralph Voigt and Nordeen Lewison. Bearers were David Brandt, Harold Brandt, Kenneth Brandt, Alan Brandt, Marvin Klouse and Clifford Klouse.
Survivors include wife, June Brandt, Taopi; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Fred Ludermann, LaPorte, Iowa; son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Linda Brandt, Hayward; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brothers, Anton Klouse, Rose Creek, John Brandt, Osage, Iowa, Walter Brandt, Austin, Fred Brandt, Osage; nieces nephews and cousins.
