Ernest Henry Meister – July 21, 1890 – October 26, 1981

Funeral services were held for Ernest Meister on October 29, 1981, at Little Cedar Lutheran Church, the Reverend Allen Gunderson officiating. Ernest died on October 26, 1981, at the Stacyville Nursing Home, Stacyville, Mitchell County, Iowa.

Ernest was born July 21, 1890 in Mitchell County, Iowa, the son of George and Margaret Wilk Meister. He married Lila Troge. Lila passed away in January of 1964. He Lydia Cornelia (Gans) Scheer.

Survived by wife, Cornelia Meister, Adams; daughters, Mrs. Lloyd (Ruth) Kogle, Gladbrook, IA, Mrs. Joseph (Mae) Monsen, LeRoy, MN, Mrs. Curtis (Daisy) Larson, Austin, Mrs. Ruben (Lois) Erickson, Amery, WI; sons, Melvin, Bella Vista, Ark., Luther, Rose Creek, Edwin, Waterloo, IA, Roy, Bloomington, MN, Dean, Mankato, Vern, Pine Island, MN, Jerry, Albert Lea; step-children, Donovan Scheer, Grand Meadow, Robert Scheer, Montclair, NJ, Mrs. Merle (Patricia) Marrow, San Diego, CA, Mrs. Gerald (Sandra) Culbertson, LeSueur, MN; 27 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 13 step-grandchildren; 4 step-great grandchildren; nieces; nephews.
