MRS. J. WIGGANS RITES PLANNED
St. Ansgar – Mrs. Joe Wiggans, 62, died Tuesday evening of a heart attack. She lived in this vicinity all her life and was born near Toeterville.
Surviving are her husband, three brothers; August of St. Ansgar; William of Stewart, Minnesota; and Carl of Washington; three sisters; Mrs. Dora Baldner of St. Ansgar; Mrs. Fred Dueno of St. Ansgar and Mrs. Matilda Schultz of Waterloo.
Funeral services will be Friday with a prayer service at the home at 1:30 p.m. and a service at 2 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church with the Rev. Paul Brammer in charge. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery.

Martha Kuehl was born March 1879, in Mitchell County, the daughter of Henry Kuehl and Katharina (Rosel) Kuehl.She married Joseph Elbert Wiggins, the son of Thomas and Eva Wiggins.
Note**** The obit has her last name as Wiggans, as does her husbands’ obit, but both of their tombstones (see Iowa GPP) have it spelled Wiggins.
