Paul Dean Benson, 69, of Osage, died Saturday, March 6, 1993 at the Maple Manor Nursing Home.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at the First Baptist Church, Osage with the Rev. Jerry Newland officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery in Charles City.
Paul Dean Benson was born on August 13, 1923, in Orchard, Mitchell county, Iowa.
Survivors include his mother, Helen Benson of Cedar Falls; his wife, Hazel Benson, Osage; two daughters, Patricia Christiansen of rural Nora Springs, and Connie Benson of Cedar Rapids; three sons, Garry Benson of New Hampton, Dennis Benson of Farmington and Bruce Benson of Cedar Rapids; one sister, Imogen Barton of Hockessin, Delaware; five brothers: Wayne Benson of Rudd, Guy Benson of Yorba Linda, Calif., Wesley Benson of Cedar Falls, Darwin Benson of Cedar Rapids and John Benson of Red Bluff, Calif.; and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, one daughter and one great-grandchild.
