Osage, Dec. 28 – Funeral services for Abraham L. Hill who died Tuesday morning, have been announced for Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Shelledy Funeral Home.Mason City Globe Gazette, Thursday December 28, 1933

Abraham Lincoln Hill was born July 1863 in New York, the son of Henry Hill and Sophie (Petrie) Hill.
On October 27, 1887 he was married to Lula Isabelle Hill, the daughter of Edward Hill and Isabelle (Stannard) Hill.
Their home was established on a farm adjoining Lulu’s parental home on the east. They lived there until 1902 when they sold the farm and moved to Osage, where he entered the farm implement business with a brother, Silas W. Hill.
Seven children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Hill: Winifred, who died in infancy; Helen, who died at the age of six; Lynn (a twin brother to Glen), who died at the age of two; and Glen, at home; Mrs. Hazel Torney, Osage; Sidney and Edward, both of Los Angeles.
