Clarence Herman Boeck – December 4, 1883 – January 7, 1964

Nora Springs – Clarence Herman Boeck, 80, died Tuesday at a Mason City Hospital. Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church here. Burial will be in Park Cemetery with Sheckler Funeral Home in charge.

The son of William and Amelia Erbe Boeck, he was born in Mitchell, December 4, 1883.
He was married to Daisy Holt in Minneapolis on June 3, 1936. He farmed, operated an implement shop in Nora Springs and was employed by the P.G. & E., in Mason City 19 years before retiring in 1953.

Surviving are his wife, Daisy; two daughters; Mrs. Frank (Evelyn) Altman, Nora Springs; Mrs. Roland (Birdie) Graves, Winona, Minnesota; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Katy Ashmore and a brother.

Clarence Herman Boeck’s first wife was Cassie Amanda Ashmore 1886-1935, the daughter of James Ashmore and Ella (Slawson) Ashmore.

His 2nd wife was Daisy Mae (Behrendt) Holt, the ex-wife of Homer March Holt. She was the daughter of August Behrendt and Bertha (Luttrell) Behrendt.
