Rose Ethel Cannon was born November 21, 1902 at Ventura, Cerro Gordo, Iowa to Crayton (Creighton) W. Cannon and Alicia Brookmire.

Family found in the 1910, 1915, 1920, 1925 censuses living at Clear Lake, Cerro Gordo, IA:

1910: Orton W. Canon 51, Aleacia Canon 45, Wilford Canon 13, Lawren E. Canon 10, Rose Canon 7, Emmons Canon 21.

1915: Rose age 12.

1920: Crayton W Cannon 61, Alecia A. Cannon 55, Cecil E. Cannon 28, Charles Cannon 26, Wilford Cannon 24, Lauren Cannon 21, Rosie Cannon 17.

1925: C W Cannon 66, Alecia A Cannon 60, Cecil Cannon 33, Loran Cannon 26, Rosa Cannon 22.

Rose found in the 1930 census living at Mason City, Cerro Gordo, Iowa, renting a room and working: Rose Cannon, age 27.

Rose married Bert Noel Larson on January 14, 1931 at Des Moines, Iowa and they evenutally settled into farming in Cedar township, Mitchell County, Iowa.

Rose and Bert had five children: four sons, and one daughter. Their oldest son, Gordon R. Larson, was born May 11, 1922, died September 10, 1998 at Hillsborough, Florida.

Their middle son, Russell Keith Larson, was born February 9, 1933 at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa and died November 23, 2011 at Mason City, Cerro Gordo, Iowa.

Rose died August 17, 1974 at Rochester, Olmsted, Minnesota and is buried at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church Cemetery, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.
