MRS. CARRIE S. RICHMOND
Funeral services for Mrs. Carrie S. Richmond, 77, of 137 Hope Street, who died at Presbyterian Hospital at 3 a.m. of a heart ailment, will be at First Methodist church in Elma, Iowa, at 2 p.m. Friday with Rev. Gilbert S. Cox officiating. Morning service will be at 10 at Kearns Garden Chapel.
Burial will be at Riceville, Iowa cemetery.She was born January 18, 1870, at Brockport, New York, the daughter of Emma and Charles Pease. She was married to Ezra W. Richmond, November 29, 1888 in Riverside, California.
A member of first Methodist church at Elma, Iowa, she is survived by two daughters; Mrs. Carol Trunkey, 1525 Hawthorne Avenue; and Mrs. Lena Curran, 137 Hope Street; one sister; Mrs. Lena Thistle, Rochester, New York; two grandchildren and one great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, one brother and two sisters.
The body is at Kearns Garden Chapel.Waterloo Courier, Wednesday November 19, 1947
Note**She was buried at Riverside Cemetery, Riceville, Mitchell, Iowa. Her husband Ezra and son Eddie Richmond are also buried there.
