Elsie Henrietta (Plantage) Schultheis -- October 24, 1926 – August 13, 2011

Elsie H. Schultheis, 84, died Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011, at Dougherty Hospice House, Sioux Falls, S.D. A family directed memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 5500 E. 57th St, Sioux Falls, SD.

Schultheis, Elsie greatly enjoyed helping others with everything from plumbing to gardening, especially planting flowers. She also loved spending time with all of her grandchildren.

Grateful for having shared her life were son, Steven Schultheis, Albuquerque, N.M.; her four grandchildren: Travis (Lisa) Quam, Albert Lea, Matthew (Mariebell) Schultheis, Calif., Ben Schultheis, Sioux Falls, Ashley Schultheis and Keith Hill, Albert Lea; six great-grandchildren; her sister, Julie (Don) Schlichting, Mankato; her brother, Edwin (Virginia) Plantage, Albert Lea.

Elsie was preceded in death by her husband, Dean; two sons: Roger and Gary Schultheis; her parents, Gerrit and Jennie Plantage.
