Funeral services for Arla M. Richardson, 74 of rural McIntire, Iowa were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 31, 1994 with the Reverend Donald Lovejoy and Reverend John Gilbert officiating. Mrs. Richardson passed away Thursday, July 28, 1994 at Maple Manor Nursing Home in Osage.
Visitation was held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, July 30 at the Hutchins Funeral Home in LeRoy, Minnesota.
Arla M. Richardson was born February 5, 1920 in McIntire, Iowa.
Survivors include two daughters, Ellen Flugge, Cary, Illinois and Darla Donovan, Beloit, Wisconsin; two sons, Ronald Richardson and Roger Richardson, both of McIntire, Iowa; two sisters, Helen Timmerman of Le Roy, Minnesota and Shirley Grimley of Oelwein, Iowa; one brother, Keith Van De Walker, Oelwein, Iowa; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy; her parents, one daughter, two brothers and a son-in-law.
Interment was in Wayne Cemetery at McIntire, Iowa with the Hutchins Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
