Funeral services for a former Osage resident Francis Willey, 74, were held on Tuesday, November 27, at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He died on Saturday, November 25, 1984, in a Minneapolis nursing home.

Burial was in the Osage Cemetery with committal services on Tuesday. Military rites were conducted at the cemetery by American Legion Post 278 of Osage. Champion Funeal Home was in charge of local arrangements.

Mr. Willey was a carpet layer with Dale Peterson's Inc. of Osage. He continued that occupation when he moved to Minneapolis and until he retired he served with the Seabees in World War II.

Mr. Willey is survived by his wife, Helen of Minneapolis; a daughter, Royetta Marcotte of Minneapolis; two sons, Edward of Minneapolis, and Jerald "Jerry" of Osage; three sisters and one brother, all living out of the area; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
