Ralph E. Scott, 88, a retired Osage shoe repairman, died Saturday, October 27, 1984, at a Minneapolis, Minnesota, medical center. No services were held. The body was donated to the University of Iowa. Champion Funeral Home, Osage, was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Scott, a shoe repairman in Osage for 38 years, was born on December 3, 1895, in Tama, Iowa, to William and Carrie Scott. He moved to Osage in 1939 and had worked until the age of 83.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Maxine Studer of Bloomington, Minnesota; a son-in-law, Franklin Ruby of Fullerton, Calif.; four grandchidlren and five great-grandchildren.
