JAYNE ADAMS, 17

Miss Jayne Adams, 17, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Adams, of rural Riceville, died in a one car accident between 8 and 8:30 a.m. Wednesday morning, approximately 3½ miles west of Riceville on Highway 9.

Miss Adams was a senior in the Riceville Community School.

Services were still pending at the Chisholm Funeral Home at press time on Wednesday.

FUNERAL SERVICES
HELD FRIDAY FOR
JAYNE ADAMS, 17

A Mass of Requiem was held at 11:00 a.m. in St. Peters Catholic Church in New Haven on Friday, November 10, 1972 for Jayne Marie Adams, 17, who died in a one car accident on November 8, 1972 west of Riceville. Officiate of the Mass was Father Paul Evans.

Jayne Marie Adams was born August 1, 1955 in Osage, Iowa, the daughter of Harold and Irene Adams. She was a Senior in the Riceville Community High School.

She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Adams, Riceville, one sister Mary, Iowa State University at Ames, maternal grandmother Mrs. Jake Steffen, Riceville, Iowa, paternal grandmother, Mrs. Pauline Adams, McIntire, Iowa. Several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Edward Adams, and her maternal grandfather, Jake Steffen.

Interment was at St. Peters Cemetery in New Haven, Iowa with the Chisholm Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
