Funeral services were held Monday, August 6, 1984, at the United Methodist Church, Osage, Iowa, for Mrs. Harvey (Marguerite) Erbe, 87, of Osage, who died on Saturday, August 4, 1984, at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital.
The Rev. J. Pittman officiated at the service and burial was in the Osage Cemetery. Champion Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Marguerite Wherry and Harvey Erbe were united in marriage on December 28, 1921. They farmed in Iowa and Missouri and in later years following the death of her husband, Marguerite and her granddaughter, Marsha Pederson, moved to Osage.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey; a daughter, Marcella; her parents; two sisters, Frances and Mabel; and by three brothers, Loran, Everett and Eben.
Marguerite is survived by three grandchildren, John of Mason City, Mark of Osage, and Marsha of Lafayette, Indiana; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Frances Mulcahy, State Center; and two brothers, Ralph Wherry, Osage, and Harley Wherry, LeRoy, Minnesota.
