EVERTSON, EWERTSON

Mrs. C.C. Evertson departed this life last Friday night, in the 61st year of her age. She was the mother of Harry, Jacob and Phillip Evertson and was living with the former at the time of her demise.
The funeral services were held in the M.E. church Sunday afternoon. While we know that Death is no respecter of persons and that our dearest friends may be plucked from our presence in a moment, the parting, when it comes, is none the less harder to bear, nor our grief none the less poignant from knowledge of this fact; and we herewith tender our sympathies to those who are thus called upon to mourn the loss of a mother and friend.
Mrs. Evertson was born in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany in 1819, and came to this country in 1875. She has been quite feeble for the past five years but was really ill only three weeks preceding her death.

We wish to tender our sincere thanks to the people of St. Ansgar and vicinity for their kindly aid and sympathy in our recent bereveament, and earnestly hope that theirs may not be a similar experience for long years to come.

NOTES:
Harry, Jacob and Philip are buried at the St. Ansgar City Cemetery and their name is recorded as Ewertson.
Harry died in 1918, Jacob in 1917 and Philip in 1923.
