Brad Eugene Keller December 23, 1955 – July 4, 2008
Brad Eugene Keller, son of Carl and Ladyne Engel Keller, was born December 23, 1955, in Knox, Ind. He was a 1974 graduate of Riceville High School. He was united in marriage to Debbie Lou Dohlman on February 28, 1975 at the First Presbyterian Church in LeRoy, Minn. He was a truck driver.
Brad loved to spend as much time with his granddaughters as he could. They enjoyed helping him wash out his semi-trailers. You could always find Brad in the woods with either a chainsaw, a shotgun, family and a beer or two or, if that failed, he would be downstairs in front of the fireplace watching the History Channel in the dark. He tried to spend as much time with his family as he could-golfing, fishing, shooting clay pigeons or eating good food. He grew up farming with his family and after he got married he continued to farm with the help of everyone and eventually became the proud owner and operator of Keller Trucking. He loved everyone from family to friends and will always be missed, always in our thoughts, and never forgotten.
Survivors include: his wife, Debbie of Riceville, Iowa; two sons, Chris (Amanda) Keller of Chester, Iowa and their two daughters Ella and Clara, and Kyle Keller of Waterloo, Iowa; two daughters, Angela (Jeff) Schlatter and their two daughters Mercadez and Isabella of Cresco, Iowa and Ashley of Ames, Iowa; his mother, Ladyne Keller of LeRoy; his parents-in-law, Donald and Wanda Dohlman of LeRoy; two brothers, Blaine Keller of Riceville and Brent (Pam) Keller of Alden, Minn.; and one sister, Brenda (Dick) Grunder of Wilton, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carl.
The funeral service was held at First Presbyerian Church in LeRoy on July 8 with Neal Solomonson and burial was in Riceville's Riverside Cemetery.
