(Oct. 15, 1922)

Mrs. Hannibal Edgington passed away between 4 and 5 o'clock early Sunday morning, after but three days of illness, the cause thought to be a stroke of apoplexy. Mrs. Edgington went to bed feeling as well as usual. She arose early to shut a door and evidently fell just as she reached it, as her husband found her lying there a few minutes afterwards. She never regained consciousness.

She lived most of her life there, was graduated from the public schools, and at the age of 23 married to Hannibal Edgington. They were engaged in farm work for a number of years near Charles City. They had no chidren.

When she was 16 years of age she joined the Congregational church, and has been a member of the First Congregational church ever since coming to Osage. She was deeply interested in the different societies of the church taking an active part in the Ladies Aid and Missionary Circle.

Funeral services were held from the Congregational Church Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock and interment made in the Osage Cemetery.
