Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 1984, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, for Francis (Jack) Tidemanson, 70, who died on Sunday, June 3, 1984, at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital.
The Rev. Joseph Nesheim will officiate at the service and burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery at Mitchell, Iowa. Champion Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He was born on March 9, 1914 in Mitchell, the son of Iver and Lydia Tidemanson. He was baptized on June 21, 1914. He graduated from Mitchell High School and attended Iowa State.
He was united in marriage on January 25, 1942 to Zella Barker. They farmed most of their married lives in Mitchell County before retiring to Osage, 18 years ago.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Zella; two daughters, Mrs. Rodger (Judy) Wambeam of Austin, Minnesota, and Mrs. Fred (Karen) Rodemaker, New Hampton; two sons, Gary, Charles City, and Carl, Greene; 13 grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Robert (Florentine) Moody of Osage.
