DIED AT GLASCO, CLOUD COUNTY, KANSAS, ON THE 31ST DAY OF OCTOBER, CHRIS ANDERSON, AGED 42 YEARS AND 2 DAYS
Mr. Anderson was born in the Southern part of Norway. He came to this country 25 years ago, when but a boy, settling down in Iowa County, Wis., where he resided until about 7 years ago, when taken by the Western fever. He at once removed to Kansas. He is a brother of Mrs. Lars Moe, of this town. The sudden inteligence of his death casts a shadow of gloom over the entire family. Alas! thus is life; uncertain and no man knows the time when the dreaded fiend, Death, may enter; he asks no delay, but right in the appearant hight of this life's comforts and enjoyments, he but bids and you must follow. We extend our sympathy to the sorrowing relatives, and in their sad bereavement of a once fond brother and son, we would point you to Him who takes all the burdens of sorrow and care, and lightens up the sad hearts of the once happy family circle. He bore it all and bears it still.
