Former Supervisor of
Mitchell County Dies

STACYVILLE, IOWA - Funeral services were held at the Sacred Heart Church at Meyer Monday for John E. Hemann, 85, who died at his home near Meyer after a short illness.

He is survived by eight children. His wife died three years ago.

For 24 years he served on the Mitchell County Board of Supervisers. He was a director of the meyer school district for 30 years. He never had a doctor during his lifetime until the forenoon of his death.
